  ‘Art At The Lift’

WHAT'S ON NOW

Following the closure of our stall at the old market place in Northwich, VAC are developing new ideas and events for the coming months, until we find a new base within the town. These plans include the launch of an online gallery (coming soon) and the hosting of our first Art Fair!

COMING SOON

Artists and art groups are invited to hire a table for a fee of £20 to market their work. 
This invitation is open to artists and crafters and provides an excellent opportunity at a reasonable cost.
 

Please note this fee is due on booking and is nonrefundable. Tables are allocated on a first come, first served basis.  

 

Alternatively…  

 

If you only want to exhibit up to three pieces, we can include you on the VAC tables for £3.00 per picture (payable on delivery) plus 20% commission on sales. If you have any  table top easels please bring them. Maximum size for paintings is 1m x 1m. 
 
We hope many of you will get involved in this venture as we plan to organise similar events in the future.

Artists are also invited to paint plein air within the grounds if weather allows, so come and join us for creative fun!

About us

Visual Arts Cheshire (VAC) is a Northwich based arts organisation and Comunity Interest company.   

Our aim is to promote visual arts in Northwich through a variety of initiatives and events including exhibitions and workshops.

We are currently based inside Northwich Market Hall on Apple Market Street, following our three year residency at Barons Quay. We have previously held exhibitions at the iconic Weaver Hall Museum, the Plaza cinema/bingo hall  (closed in 2011). 

We continue to plan further events. We run the summer Art Trail and produce the Northwich Calendar each year. In 2018 we introduced the Children’s Art Trail which is now a regular annual feature.
